In winter the weather in Britain is often very cold. In spring and autumn there are sometimes cold days. The weather is usually warm in summer. Sometimes it is hot in summer, but it is not often very hot. There are often cool days in summer. The days are long in summer and the nights are short. When the temperature is over eighty degrees Fahrenheit, English people say that it is hot. When the temperature is about seventy degrees Fahrenheit, they say that it is warm.
