And then we were hungry and thirsty.

Did you buy some water?

No, we bought a watermelon.

Sam carried the watermelon on the bike.

Did you fall off your bike?

No, Sam fell off his bike. And I bumped my head.

Then he took me and the watermelon to the hospital.
